Sell on Marketplace with Escrow

Escrow is often described as buyer protection — but it's also vendor protection:

• Payment is verified before you ship. You don't ship to scammers using stolen cards because the payment is processed and held BEFORE you ship.

• Chargebacks are minimized. Once a buyer clicks Confirm Received or 7 days pass, the funds are yours. Buyers cannot retroactively dispute a transaction they confirmed.

• Disputes are resolved by PBridge — not by you arguing with the buyer in DMs. We have a dedicated team that reviews evidence and makes decisions within 48 hours.

• You're protected against payment fraud — Flutterwave handles fraud screening before funds enter escrow.

1. Buyer pays. Funds go into SafeHold™ Escrow at Flutterwave (held outside PBridge's operating funds).

2. Order notification: you see a PAID order in your vendor dashboard with payment confirmed. You can now safely ship.

3. Ship the order. Upload tracking information.

4. Buyer receives the order. They have 7 days to confirm or dispute.

5a. Buyer confirms receipt → payment releases to your wallet within minutes. Commission is deducted automatically.

5b. 7 days pass with no action and no dispute → payment auto-releases to your wallet. (This protects you against unresponsive buyers.)

5c. Buyer disputes → PBridge reviews within 48 hours. If your delivery was correct, funds release to you with full evidence on record.

Unfair disputes are rare but happen. To protect yourself:

• Always ship to the address on the order page (not an alternative address requested via DM) • Use tracking on every shipment • Take photos of the packaged item before shipping (timestamped) • Upload tracking number to the order page • If the buyer disputes, upload your shipping evidence to the dispute case

In 80%+ of disputes where the vendor has proper documentation (tracking, photos, signed delivery confirmation), the funds release to the vendor.

If you have a buyer who consistently disputes, our system flags them. Buyers with high false-dispute rates are removed from the platform.

Escrow protects you, but only if you fulfill your side of the deal:

• Ship within 3 business days of order acceptance (or buyer gets auto-refund) • Ship the exact item described (not a similar item, not a substitute) • Use proper packaging that protects the item • Upload tracking number within 24 hours of shipping • Respond to buyer messages within 24 hours • If you cannot fulfill an order (out of stock, etc.), cancel within 24 hours so the buyer is refunded promptly

If you're selling online for the first time, escrow gives you confidence to ship to buyers you've never met. Without escrow (e.g., on classified sites), new sellers face a chicken-and-egg problem: buyers don't trust new sellers, but new sellers can't get reviews without first making sales.
