Acceptable Use Policy

You may never list, advertise, or sell:

• Illegal drugs — including marijuana, cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, codeine without prescription
• Weapons — firearms, ammunition, knives over 10cm, tasers, pepper spray (without licence)
• Counterfeit goods — fake designer products, fake electronics, fake currency, fake documents
• Stolen property — any item without legitimate proof of ownership
• Live animals — pets, livestock, endangered species, or animal parts (ivory, scales)
• Human remains — including hair, organs, or any body material
• Adult content — pornography, escort services, anything sexually explicit
• Hazardous materials — explosives, flammable liquids, toxic chemicals, radioactive items
• Prescription medications — without proper pharmacy licensing
• Tobacco & alcohol — without proper retail licence and age verification
• Government documents — passports, NIN cards, voter cards, driver licences
• Hacked accounts or credentials — social media accounts, streaming services, gift cards from unknown sources
• Recalled products — items subject to safety recall in Nigeria or internationally

These items require pre-approval from PBridge before listing:

• Electronics over ₦1,000,000 in value (anti-fraud check)
• Used or refurbished mobile phones (must include IMEI verification)
• Gold, silver, or precious metals
• Vehicles and vehicle parts
• Health supplements and herbal products (must include NAFDAC registration)
• Cosmetics (must include NAFDAC registration)
• Food items (must include NAFDAC registration and refrigeration disclosure if needed)

You may not:

• Impersonate another person, business, or PBridge staff
• Maintain multiple accounts to evade bans or manipulate ratings
• Use bots, scripts, or automation to scrape data or place orders
• Attempt to bypass SafeHold Escrow (asking buyers to pay you directly off-platform)
• File false disputes or chargeback requests
• Post fake reviews (yours or competitors')
• Harass, threaten, or insult other users, vendors, or PBridge staff
• Share personal contact information (phone, WhatsApp) before payment is complete
• Attempt to discover security flaws or test penetration without written permission
• Upload viruses, malware, or any harmful code
• Violate any Nigerian federal or state law

All listings must:

• Use clear, accurate product titles (no keyword stuffing or misleading terms)
• Include real photos of the actual product (no stock images for used items)
• Describe condition honestly — "new", "like new", "used - good", "used - fair"
• State pricing in Nigerian Naira (₦) clearly
• Specify shipping origin and estimated delivery time
• Disclose any defects, missing parts, or non-standard conditions

Violations are treated based on severity:

• Minor (typos, unclear photos): warning + 48 hours to fix
• Moderate (misleading description, restricted item without approval): listing removed + 30-day suspension
• Major (counterfeits, fraud, prohibited items): permanent ban + escrow freeze + reported to Nigerian authorities
• Repeated minor violations: escalate to moderate then major level

Bans are permanent. We do not unban accounts that have been banned for major violations. Attempts to create new accounts to evade a ban result in the new account being banned immediately.

We investigate every report within 24 hours.

We update this policy as new fraud patterns or product categories emerge. Continuing to use PBridge after a change means you accept the updated rules.
